Bettina is offering her insights and experience to help us work together in constructive ways to build artistic capacities and become more expressive. Here are some themes we might address:
1) How do the two art forms of speech and eurythmy meet and work together? Where is the difficulty in meeting? Can working together become more productive and fun? Can we share experience and learn from each other on this subject?
2) A stage art needs directing. What can eurythmists and speakers learn from the skills of theatre directors? How can we become inspired directors for each other? What skills do we need to develop to do that?
3) Why are eurythmy and speech not accepted in society? Do we put people off by doing the wrong programme in the wrong place?
4) Do we need to be more encouraging and supportive of gifted young artists?
5) How important is the Speech and Drama course for us (including eurythmists)? For example, the six gestures or how to work with space.
All eurythmists, speakers, actors, and directors are invited on Friday 4pm – 7pm, including students. Saturday and Sunday are reserved for active performing artists. Please come prepared to share something from your work.
